My husband Ken and I met at Calvin College during an Interim in Europe, and we got married in January of 2005.  Ken works as a Project Manager at a wonderful Christian company called Extol in Zeeland.  We are members at Drenthe CRC.  One of my passions is traveling; I have been to 26 different countries.

I graduated from Calvin College in May of 2005. After that I worked as a Title 1 Paraprofessional at Godfrey-Lee Early Childhood Center for one year. Then God blessed me with this Preschool position at Allendale Christian. I am currently attending Grand Valley State University to get my masters in Early Childhood Education.

I believe that every child can learn, and everyone is made in God’s image.  I want to encourage my students to use their gifts to serve the Lord.  It is my goal as a Christian educator to provide an environment that will enhance and support the spiritual development of my students.
