My husband Chris and I live in Borculo with our black lab Sadie. Chris works for Wyoming Public Schools in their business office.  Together, we love to be outside whether it's going for a walk, playing softball, boating, fishing, or biking. I also enjoy reading and scrapbooking. This is our second year as youth group leaders at our church, Noordeloos CRC where I have been a member my whole life.

I am a 1997 graduate of Holland Christian High School and then I went on to attend Grand Valley State University. I received my BA degree in Movement Science with a minor in elementary education in 2002. I substitute taught in various school districts for a year as well as coaching softball at Holland Christian before God placed me at Allendale Christian.

Every sports team that plays has a goal which they are
working towards. It may be winning the game, improving in different areas, or
encouraging one another more. It is interesting to compare this to our lives
as Christians. Our ultimate goal is life with Christ for eternity.
Philippians 3:14 says "I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which
God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." I hope that students see me
working towards this eternal prize daily and that I can encourage them to use
their bodies to glorify Christ while teaching and coaching.
