| My wife, Jill, and I have been married since August of 2003. Jill was a first grade teacher at Hudsonville Christian School for six years until our daughter, Emma, was born. We are all living with our dog in Hudsonville. We are members of Immanuel CRC and are very involved in the high school ministry through our church. We are having fun finding our place of service in God’s world. |

In 2002, I graduated from Calvin College with a B.A. in elementary education. The following year I worked throughout Ottawa and Kent Counties as a substitute teacher. Following that experience I taught fourth grade here at Allendale Christian for four years. For the past few years I have been teaching middle school science and social studies. I look forward to what God has in store for me here. |
